Very convenient to the Bluegrass Festival.
The breakfast was good
The water in the tub was dirtier that the floor, the room had a foul smell not a healthy environment.
The price and location were good.
The door to the room did not close well. The only way to close the door was to slam it. It must have been annoying to our neighbors.
We were very happy with the service, friendly staff and very clean. There was no noise at night time.
Convenient to I-10.
My room had a noisy air conditioner that kept turning on and off, so sleep was hard to come by. I think the air conditioner is designed to operate this way. Still it was way too loud. The bathroom seemed to be under construction as the shelf was hanging by some glue. As the glue wasn't strong, the shelf tilted forward and so it could not be used. There were obvious traces of some attempted repair.
The staff was very attentative and polite. As a single female travler I felt safe and very confortable during my stay. If I need a accomadations in Blyth gain, the Regency will be my number one choice.
The manager was very friendly and accommodating.
The bed was a disaster. Mine was rock hard and not comfortable at all. I wouldn't stay there again for this reason alone. The shower diverter only partially worked so most of the hot water ran down the drain rather than going up through the shower head. I would have moved to another room but I'd settled in to 209 and I just made the best of it. Finally, I asked the manager to heat the spa twice in the morning to accommodate me. He did and I appreciate it. However, even after a half an hour, the water was never very warm. Luke warm at best. It was really useable for the purpose of relaxing in a spa.
Good breakfast resource
Motion sensing lights-constantly going out while reading, sitting. Poor lighting in room overall. No freezer in refrigerator.
